Promenade at Coconut Creek is proud to be a LEED® certified destination!
Promenade at Coconut Creek achieved its LEED certification in March 2010. The shopping center was certified at the Silver level using the LEED for Core and Shell v2.0 rating system. Consisting of over 200K square feet of retail and approximately 75K of Class ‘A’ office space, Promenade at Coconut Creek established the sustainable infrastructure that continues to benefit our shops and restaurants and future development efforts.
In addition, we also encourage the businesses at Promenade at Coconut Creek to integrate sustainable features and practices into their operations. We are pleased that several businesses to date have voluntarily elected to certify their spaces using LEED rating systems for Commercial and Retail Interior projects.
Please refer to the resources found on this page for more information about this initiative!
LEED, or Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, is a green building certification program that recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices. The U.S. Green Building Council, under LEED, aims to transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life.
